Alliance Showdown Guide

Alliance Showdown is a monthly cross-state event in Whiteout Survival where the top 20 alliances from competing states face off over approximately 6.5 days. Each stage has a distinct theme that determines which activities score points, and Victory Points (VPs) are awarded to the winning alliance on each stage.

There are 13 total Victory Points across the event — an alliance needs 7 or more to win the showdown. Your personal points determine your individual rewards and ranking. To qualify for personal ranking rewards you need at least 300,000 points across the event, and your alliance needs a combined 20,000,000 total points.

Stages 1–4 each last approximately 24 hours with milestones up to 125,000 points. Stage 5 also lasts ~24 hours but has higher milestones (up to 187,500). Stage 6 (Full-Scale Competition) is a 36-hour finale where all activities from previous stages are available, also with milestones up to 187,500.

• Stockpile items 1–2 weeks before the event:
  • Refined Fire Crystals, Fire Crystals, Fire Crystal Shards
  • Mithril (never use outside AS/SvS/KoI events)
  • Advanced Wild Marks and Common Wild Marks
  • Hero Shards (Mythic, Epic, Rare)
  • Hero Exclusive Gear Widgets and Essence Stones
  • All Speedups (Construction, Research, Training, Expert Skills)
  • Expert Sigils and Books of Knowledge
  • Chief Gear and Chief Charm materials
  • Gems — these score on every stage at 1 pt each but add up
• Always escort and raid trucks — they give 10,000 pts each on every stage.
• Coordinate with your alliance leadership on which stages to contest vs. skip.

Free-to-play players can earn strong rewards through strategic preparation. Points reward activity and smart timing as much as spending. Focus on these areas:

Best Free Activities

• Truck escorts and raids — 10,000 pts each on every stage, completely free. Never miss these.
• Gathering resources on Stage 1 and Stage 3 — send marches early so they return during the right stage.
• Lucky Wheel spins on Stage 2 — use all your free spins during this stage for maximum value.

Resource Management

• Save ALL speedups for Alliance Showdown. Even 18 pts/minute adds up with thousands of minutes saved.
• Never use Mithril, Refined Fire Crystals, or Advanced Wild Marks outside of events.
• Collect every free gift code for extra resources — check the WoSTools gift codes page regularly.

Troop Training (Stage 4)

• Promotion gives more points per troop than training. Promote your stockpiled lower-tier troops first.
• Start training on Stage 2 or 3 with a Training Capacity Enhance boost so troops finish during Stage 4.

• Using Mithril or Refined Fire Crystals outside of events — these are your highest-value items during Alliance Showdown. Never spend them between events.
• Forgetting truck escorts/raids — at 10,000 pts per action on every stage, missing trucks costs you 120,000+ points across the event.
• Spending all resources on Stage 1 — the event lasts 6+ days. Plan ahead so you have enough for Stages 4–6 where high-value activities like Mithril and Widgets appear.
• Not coordinating with your alliance — if nobody is contesting a stage, you might be wasting resources. Talk to your R4/R5 about which stages to focus on.
