SVS prep phase guide
State of Power (State vs State / SvS) is the major cross-state event: a preparation period with daily scoring, then a timed battle phase around Sunfire Castle, followed by recovery (Field Triage).
This page lists prep-day activities and point values from WOSC’s local dataset (same structure as the public SvS prep reference) and a short event overview consistent with our wiki.

Overview
The flow is usually described in four stages: matchmaking, preparation (several days of scoring), battle phase (cross-state, Sunfire Castle), and Field Triage (troop recovery). The state that earns more prep score typically becomes the attacker in the battle phase; the attacker’s own Sunfire Castle is treated as protected while they strike the opponent’s castle.
Please verify in-game. Point values, ranks, and timers are adjusted by the publisher. The tables below reflect the dataset bundled for our tools; your live event screen is authoritative.
Preparation: daily scoring
Five scoring days with activities and points. Tips under each day are shown as in the reference dataset (with WOSC calculator links where mentioned).
Phases at a glance
1 · Matchmaking
States are paired over roughly two days using strength heuristics (community sources often cite top-chief troop power, e.g. top 100). The opponent is fixed on the second day.
2 · Preparation
About six days total in common descriptions: five scoring days as listed above, then a final evaluation day with wrap-up rewards.
3 · Battle phase
Limited window for cross-state teleports (often described as three free teleports). Furnace-level match rules (commonly ±3) apply. Sunfire Castle is the main objective; capturing it as attacker can enable naming a Supreme President for both states.
4 · Field Triage
Post-battle recovery: part of lost troops can be restored with alliance help; descriptions often mention Rebirth Tomes (e.g. around 20 tomes for the phase — confirm in-game).
Rewards (summary)
- Preparation: Daily personal and alliance rankings; end-of-prep overall ranking with tiered rewards (exact brackets in-game).
- Prep winner / loser: Both states receive rewards; the winner typically gets the larger bundle (e.g. Sunfire tokens, teleports, gems, speedups — as shown by the event).
- Battle phase: State-wide rewards (often doubled for the winning state in community write-ups), personal rankings by battle score, alliance rankings.
- Medals: Daily score targets may grant medals exchangeable for gems, shards, crystals, hero XP, etc., depending on the current shop.
Battle phase notes
- Higher prep score → attacker role; attacker pushes the enemy Sunfire Castle while their own castle is protected.
- Cross-state teleports usually ignore alliance territory borders; alliance structures are often not attackable during the battle phase.
- If the attacker captures the enemy Sunfire Castle, the alliance holding it may name a Supreme President for both states. If not captured, existing president roles typically stay unchanged.
- Supreme President buffs both states; descriptions often cite about two weeks term length — check the current event.

Field Triage
After fighting, alliances can help recover a portion of lost troops. Requirements and caps (including tomes) are defined by the live event — read the in-game Field Triage panel.
Other rules players often cite
- Territory buffs may apply in battle when the city sits fully inside the alliance 2×2 territory and structures are not vulnerable (details in-game).
- Recruitment office capacity is often raised during SvS.
- Changing alliance during SvS can affect alliance-rank rewards.
- If the same state holds tower and Sunfire Castle, tower fire typically does not hit friendly targets (as described in community notes).
- Eligibility sometimes requires a minimum state age (often quoted around 12 weeks).
- SvS is a recurring major event (often described as roughly monthly).
WOSC practice
- Agree early on shot-callers, rally leads, and Sunfire defense shifts.
- Align speedups and FC use with the day that scores them best — don’t burn everything on day one unless that matches your plan.
- Keep communication in Discord clear; SvS rewards coordination more than solo plays.
